In 1954, Shenyang Elevator Factory developed the first elevator in China and invented the first AC speed regulation elevator, the first microcomputer controlled AC speed regulation elevator, the first large tonnage freight elevator, etc., filling the domestic gap.
In 1988, the cross regional and cross industry Shenyang Elevator Group, with Shenyang Elevator Factory as its core, was established.
In 1999, Shenyang Sanyo Elevator Co., Ltd. was established in cooperation with Sanyo Transport Aircraft Co., Ltd. of Japan, becoming the only elevator enterprise authorized by its trademark in China.
In 2000, Shenyang Lanling Vacuum Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was restructured.
In 2001, Shenyang Spherical Tank Co., Ltd. was restructured and established as Shenyang Sanyo Spherical Tank Co., Ltd.
In 2001, Shenyang Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. was restructured to establish Shenyang Sanyo Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
In 2003, with Shenyang Sanyo Elevator Co., Ltd. as the core, Sanyo Heavy Industry Group was formed with five large enterprises including Shenyang Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Shenyang Sanyo Spherical Tank Co., Ltd., becoming one of the top 30 large enterprise groups in Liaoning Province.
In 2005, Shanghai Sanyo Elevator Co., Ltd. was established in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, completing the industrial layout of Shenyang Sanyo Elevator in the north and south of the Chinese market.
In 2008, the Kaiyuan Crane Factory was restructured.
In 2011, its subsidiary Beijing Global Entrepreneurship Construction Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in Miyun District, Beijing.
In 2014, the modern 5S factory was completed and put into use in the European Development Zone.
In 2015, independently registered the SANYO YUSOKI trademark.
In 2019, the 20th anniversary of cooperation between Shenyang Sanyo Elevator and Sanyo Conveyor Co., Ltd. of Japan.
